CTV Series

The new CTV Series offers the fastest manufacturing times in serial production, thanks to short chip-to-chip times of less than five seconds, and optimized turning performance. The series provides excellent accessibility and user-oriented control technology for unparalleled production flexibility.

All moving axes, drives and precision-controlling measuring systems are located at the top in the protected area of the workpiece spindle. With a unique and unrivaled Y-axis travel of ± 3.5 inches (CTV 160) and a large Z-axis stroke, you can machine a wide spectrum of short and longer workpieces without elaborate retooling. Additional highlights include a small footprint and fast and simple automation with the height-adjustable transport disk.

A high-speed vertical lathe with reduced load and unload times and a high rapid-traverse rate for run-time reduction of about 35 percent per extruder barrel.
