The LASERTEC line features four different model types:

Shape (3-D laser milling for mold and die production),
PrecisionTool (production of chip-breaker geometries, clearance angles and cutting edges in CBN/CVD/PCD precision tools),
FineCutting (laser cutting of thin metal sheets, tubes and 3-D parts for the watch, blanking and medical industries)
PowerDrill (five-axis laser drilling of turbine components for aerospace and energy industries).

A precise laser machining center for reliable, precise and high-quality shapes, cavities, 3-D laser engravings, and complex parts with steep walls.

iDays 2012 Success: DMG / Mori Seiki USA’s annual Innovation Days at the company’s American headquarters concluded on May 10 with exceptional results. During the three days of the event, thirty-six machines were demonstrated and over a dozen US premieres were highlighted, including the MILLTAP 700, DMU 65 monoBLOCK® and DMF 260/11.

Gildemeister Announces the ULTRASONIC 65 monoBLOCK: Mori Seiki has started taking orders for the ULTRASONIC 65 monoBLOCK® equipped with ultrasonic machining functions and the LASERTEC 65 Shape equipped with laser machining functions.
